At Painter Plust our Painting and Staining service is the best in the covered area, for we believe in doing the job right the first time and our experience and professionalism is unmatched.
Tongue and Groove Wood - Our finish looks like glass and is so smooth to the touch for we put 4 coats of finish and sand between coats to ensure a smooth beautiful finish. You will not find anyone else who does this for most will only do 1 coat and at best 2 coats, but not 4.
Painted Surfaces – We always put 2 full coats of paint or one coat of primer and one coat of paint no matter what the surface. Most painters will try to get by doing only one coat for they feel you will not know the difference, (truth is that most will not) but Painter Plus puts two full coats and we never dilute the product.
Staining – Painter Plus puts two full coats of stain with at least 12 hours dry time between coats to ensure a consistent two coat application.
Caulking - we caulk all seems and seal up a house properly to keep out the elements and unwanted bugs.
Vinyl Siding - Can vinyl siding be painted and the answer is yes. You can paint vinyl if you use the correct method for cleaning, the right paint, which allows for the expansion and shrinkage of the siding, plus you must know when to paint vinyl during the day and what time of year. The house in the gallery was painted over 5 years ago and it still looks great and it used to be a gray house.
When asked if I use a sprayer or brush, the answer is both; depending on the situation and application. Most individuals feel that a paint brush will put more paint on compared to a sprayer and in most instances that would be correct for most painters dilute their products, because they spray better, but we never dilute a product. The majority of painters can’t take a stain and put a good even coat without running it, because it is thinner than paint. We do not dilute any product whether we are spraying or using a brush and that ensures good coverage for the protection and longevity is in the product and if the product has been diluted down, then the protection is not there. But to answer the question of spraying, a sprayer will put more paint on compared to a brush in the right hands for as an Engineer it was part of my job to test paint thickness and you cannot put it on as thick with a brush.
